Ogun APC Endorses Yayi for 2027 Gubernatorial Race

The Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially reaffirmed its unanimous endorsement of Senator Olamilekan Solomon, widely known as Yayi, as the party's gubernatorial candidate for the 2027 general elections. This announcement was made following a state caucus meeting held at the party's secretariat in Abeokuta on Monday.

The statement, signed by the state public secretary, Nuberu Olufemi, expressed concern over misleading narratives circulating on social media regarding the party's leadership decisions. The APC emphasized that the reports misrepresent the resolutions reached during the caucus meeting and reiterated its unwavering loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is also endorsed by the party for the presidential candidacy in the same elections.

The APC has called on its members and the public to disregard any information that does not come through official channels, categorically denouncing the misleading narratives as fabrications.
