22 Adamawa Commissioners Defect to APC Supporting Fintiri

On Friday, 22 commissioners and special advisers in Adamawa announced their defection from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressing their support for Governor Fintiri. The commissioners, who are members of the state executive council, declared their total loyalty and commitment to the governor's administration, which they described as a "fresh air" model for state development.

Babadok, the chairman of the commissioners' forum, stated that the decision to align with the APC was made after extensive consultations with stakeholders, including community leaders, youth groups, and women's associations. The defectors emphasized that their move was not driven by hostility but was a forward-looking step to strengthen political representation at the national level.

They also expressed gratitude to the people of Adamawa for their continued support and promised to intensify grassroots mobilization for APC membership.
