AFC and Ecobank Partner for +234 Art Fair 2026

The Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) has renewed its partnership with Ecobank Nigeria and Soto Gallery for the third consecutive year to host the +234 Art Fair, scheduled for March 5-8, 2026, at the Ecobank Pan African Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos. The fair aims to spotlight Nigeria's growing creative economy and contemporary African art.

The 2024 edition is expected to attract 18,000 visitors and feature 200 exhibitors, increasing to 260 in 2025, showcasing 1,100 artworks across various mediums. The event will include curated exhibits, panel discussions, live art installations, masterclasses, and networking sessions.

Samaila Zubairu, AFC's President and CEO, emphasized the fair's role in unlocking commercial and cultural value within Africa's creative industries. Tola Akerel, founder of Soto Gallery, highlighted the fair's commitment to amplifying Nigerian voices and connecting artists with broader markets across Africa and beyond.
