AFC, Ecobank, and Soto Gallery Launch +234 Art Fair 2026

The Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) has announced its partnership with Ecobank Nigeria and Soto Gallery to host the third edition of the +234 Art Fair in Lagos from March 5 to 8, 2026. This four-day international exhibition will spotlight Nigeria's rapidly growing creative economy and contemporary African art.

The theme for the 2026 edition is "Inclus," reflecting the organizers' commitment to expanding access within the creative sector and strengthening creative entrepreneurship. The fair will feature curated exhibits, panel discussions, live art installations, masterclasses, and workshops, aiming to attract artists, collectors, investors, diplomats, and business leaders from across Africa and beyond.

Samaila Zubairu, President and CEO of AFC, emphasized the fair's role in unlocking commercial cultural value in Africa's creative industry. Bolaji Lawal, Managing Director of Ecobank Nigeria, highlighted the transformative power of the creative sector.

The fair aims to showcase emerging and established artists and foster dialogue on the role of the creative economy in sustainable development.
