Two Aspirants Withdraw from APC Primaries in Kebbi

Two senatorial aspirants, Bala Ibn Na Allah and Sani M. Kabiru, have withdrawn from the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries in Kebbi State.

Bala Ibn Na Allah, a former representative for Kebbi South Senatorial District, announced his withdrawal in a letter dated May 17, 2026, addressed to the APC state chairman in Birnin Kebbi. He explained that his decision was based on credible information regarding the party's disposition towards the upcoming primaries and emphasized his commitment to the growth of the APC over the past 14 years.

Similarly, Sani M. Kabiru, known as Kabiru Sani, announced his withdrawal from the Kebbi Central Senatorial District ticket in a letter dated May 16, 2026.

He expressed gratitude for the support received from party leaders and reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC, pledging to continue supporting the party's future electoral victories. Both withdrawals occur amid growing political realignments within the APC in Kebbi State ahead of the senatorial primaries.
