Boko Haram Attacks in Yobe: 36 Soldiers Feared Killed

Boko Haram insurgents launched coordinated attacks on military formations in the Gujba local government area of Yobe State, resulting in at least 36 soldiers and policemen feared killed. The attacks occurred around 1 AM on a Friday, targeting the theater training center of the 27 Task Force Brigade in Buni Gari, the hometown of Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni.

Survivors reported that the insurgents stormed the camp almost simultaneously, leading to intense gun battles that lasted several hours. The soldiers were overwhelmed during the midnight assault, with military sources confirming that three soldiers were killed at the theater training center, contributing to the total casualty figure of 36.
