Governor Otti Celebrates 3rd Anniversary of Leadership

During a media chat on Friday night, Governor Alex Otti of Abia State emphasized that the trust of the Abian people has been the driving force behind his administration's achievements over the past three years. He noted significant progress in infrastructure development, social welfare improvements, and fiscal responsibility.

Otti reported that his administration has restored relative security across the 17 local government areas, particularly in Umunneochi LGA, which had previously faced banditry and kidnappings. He highlighted the regular payment of civil servant salaries on the 28th of each month and the recovery of stolen assets.

The state's debt profile has reportedly reduced from ₦191 billion in 2023 to less than ₦50 billion by 2025. Otti also mentioned the completion of 414 roads and the retrofitting of 277 primary healthcare centers.

The week-long celebration of his administration's third anniversary will include various events, including church services and project commissioning.
