Otti Confident of 2027 Re-election, Promises Project Completion

Abia State Governor Otti expressed confidence in his re-election bid for 2027, stating that "Abia people are not stupid" and will not overlook good governance. During a meeting with members of the Old Students Association of Federal School of Arts and Science, Aba, Otti assured that he would complete ongoing projects in the state.

He commended the association for their decision to renovate the hostel of their alma mater, describing the initiative as laudable. Furthermore, Otti disclosed his support for Professor Bart Nnaji's Aba power project, aimed at ensuring a steady power supply for the state.

He praised Nnaji's resilience and mentioned an agreement signed with the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company regarding the acquisition of the Umuahia ring-fenced area, which will connect eight local government areas, including Umuahia and its environs, to a reliable power source.
