Otti Reaffirms Commitment to Abia's Development Goals

On Friday, during the grand finale marking the third anniversary of his administration, Abia State Governor Alex Otti assured residents of his commitment to people-oriented policies and responsible management of public resources aimed at sustainable growth and long-term prosperity. Otti emphasized that his administration has maintained fiscal discipline, reducing the state's debt profile by 70 percent through prudent financial management.

He disclosed that 414 road projects covering 800 kilometers have been completed in the past three years, with 82 road stretches of 200 kilometers soon to be completed. Landmark projects include the Port Harcourt Road in Aba and the six-lane Ossah Road.

Otti also highlighted the recruitment of nearly 1,000 healthcare professionals and significant investments in education and technology, with N300 million earmarked for technology-driven initiatives. He reiterated the administration's commitment to prompt payment of salaries and pensions and improving safety across the state.

Lawmaker Ginger Onwusib and elder statesman Sam Ohuabunwa praised Otti's visionary leadership and achievements.
