Kano Governor Allocates 40% Appointments to Youths

On Friday, Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf stated that his administration allocates 40% of political appointments to young people, including positions such as commissioners, directors, and general managers. This announcement was made during a visit from members of the youth wing of the Progressive Congress (APC).

Governor Yusuf highlighted the importance of youth involvement in governance, asserting that development cannot occur without active participation from young individuals. He described his administration's focus over the past year as dedicated to youth development and empowerment, aiming to give them a stronger voice in government.

Additionally, APC National Youth Leader Dayo Israel expressed gratitude for the governor's support and praised his commitment to youth-driven development. Israel pledged continued support for the governor's programs and policies aimed at improving the lives of young people in Kano State.
