Kano Governor Abba Yusuf Approves Fresh Appointments and Promotions in Government Institutions

Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has sanctioned new appointments and promotions within the state government. Notable changes include Abubakar Matawal's appointment as the Acting Director-General of the Kano State Pilgrim Welfare Board and Yusuf Mukhtar's promotion to the rank of Permanent Secretary.

Rahama Alhaji was appointed as the Provost of the Kano State Anti-Corruption Institute, while veteran Kannywood actress Aina U Ad was promoted to Special Assistant on Kannywood Affairs. These appointments reflect the governor's commitment to enhancing anti-corruption institutions and recognizing individuals with proven administrative capabilities.

The promotions are effective immediately, following the governor's approval to bolster governance and improve service delivery in various sectors of the state. Additionally, Abdulkadir Kankarofi was appointed as the Special Adviser on Humanitarian Affairs in the Governor's Office.
