Air Peace Initiates N32bn Aircraft Maintenance Facility, 50,000 Jobs Expected

Air Peace, under the leadership of Chairman Allen Onyema, has commenced the construction of a N32 billion Aircraft Maintenance Facility at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. The facility is expected to create 50,000 direct and indirect jobs, marking a significant milestone in the aviation industry in Nigeria.

Onyema highlighted the importance of the facility in reducing the need for maintenance services abroad, thus saving costs and boosting local capacity. The project, expected to be completed within 24 months, will cater to Air Peace's aircraft as well as other domestic and international airlines, contributing to the reduction of capital flight in aircraft repair services.
