6,382 Athletes Begin Medal Chase at 9th National Youth Games in Asaba

Over 6,000 athletes and officials have started competing for medals at the 9th National Youth Games in Asaba. The event, which began after a digital registration process, features participants from 36 states and the FCT.

The Games, running from August 29 to September 6, aim to promote youth development and sporting excellence. Gombe State is still finalizing its registration, but the event includes 37 sporting disciplines for young athletes to showcase their talents on a national stage.
