Team Lagos Triumphs at 9th National Youth Games, Secures 52 Gold Medals

Team Lagos emerged as the champion at the 9th National Youth Games in Asaba, winning a total of 52 gold, 32 silver, and 26 bronze medals. The host state, Delta, secured the second position with 37 gold, 38 silver, and 39 bronze medals, while Edo State finished third with 33 gold, 18 silver, and 28 bronze medals.

A total of 33 states participated in the games, with a combined total of 802 medals awarded. This victory showcases the talent and dedication of young athletes from Lagos and other states, highlighting the importance of nurturing youth sports in Nigeria.
