Pregnant Housewife Yusuf Files for Divorce from Isah

Yusuf, an eight-month pregnant housewife, has filed for divorce from her husband, Isah, claiming he has physically abused her and neglected his responsibilities in their marriage under Sharia Islamic law. Yusuf stated that Isah has failed to provide essential needs such as food, clothing, and healthcare.

Following her petition, she is currently living with her parents in Mararaba. The case was presented to the court, where she requested a divorce order to compel Isah to respond to her pregnancy and marital obligations.

The presiding judge, Moham Yakubu, has adjourned the case until June 11 to hear further arguments and evidence.
