Plateau Violence Report Unveils Root Causes and Recommendations

Governor Caleb Mannaseh Mutfwang inaugurated a Facts Finding Committee in Plateau to investigate the incessant attacks, killings, and destruction in the region. The report submitted by the committee revealed various factors contributing to the violence, including illegal mining, cattle rustling, land grabbing, and other criminal activities.

The committee's mandate includes identifying the perpetrators, motives, sponsors, and recommending measures to prevent further security breaches. Governor Mutfwang aims to understand the root causes of the conflicts and propose actionable recommendations to address the security challenges faced by Plateau communities.
