Southern Kaduna Clerics Call for Urgent Protection of Worship Centers Amid Abduction Crisis

Southern Kaduna Christian leaders, led by Apostle Dr. Emmanuel Kure, have called on the Kaduna State government and security agencies to urgently secure worship centers in the region following a series of abductions. The leaders expressed deep concern over the lack of progress in securing the release of abducted worshippers, highlighting the emotional and psychological trauma faced by affected families.

They also addressed the issue of ransom demands, noting the financial strain on rural communities. The clerics urged the government to honor previous assurances and take swift action to prevent further attacks.

Additionally, Dan Amo, a member of the House of Representatives, emphasized the importance of intensified prayers for peace and stability in Nigeria, especially as the country approaches the 2023 general elections. The summit concluded with prayers for the safe return of the abducted worshippers and the sustained progress of the nation.
