Abia APC Declares Benjamin Kalu as Party Leader

The Abia State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially recognized Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, as the undisputed leader of the party in the state. This declaration was made in a statement issued by Uch Aguoru, the Public Secretary of the Abia APC, on Monday.

Aguoru expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his support, emphasizing that Kalu's leadership is crucial for the party's unity. The statement also addressed internal divisions, warning that any attempts by rival groups to undermine Kalu's leadership would be resisted firmly.

Aguoru specifically mentioned that individuals or groups attempting to create parallel structures within the party would do so at their own risk, highlighting the importance of cohesion and unity within the APC in Abia State.
