Abia Governor Approves Medical Bills for Actress Nwosu

Abia State Governor Alex Otti has approved the payment of the first phase of medical expenses for veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu, who publicly appealed for financial assistance for three life-saving surgeries. Martins Justice, the governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Tourism and Entertainment, announced this intervention via a post on X on Tuesday.

He noted that the approval only covers part of the required medical expenses and called on Nigerians to continue supporting Nwosu. In a heartfelt video shared on her Instagram, Nwosu revealed she had been hospitalized for three weeks and could no longer afford her treatment costs.

She urgently requested help from fans, family, and colleagues, stating, “I need your help. Don’t let me die.” Nwosu disclosed the need for three surgeries and encouraged well-wishers to contact her management for support.
