Abia State Targets Turkish and European Investors to Revive Textile and Ceramic Industries

The Abia State government is focusing on attracting Turkish and European investors to revitalize the moribund textile and ceramic industries. Special advisor Jerome Green Amakw and officials like Dr.

Salom Nkemakolam Obiukwu are promoting public-private partnerships to bring in new investments and technology transfer. Dr.

Fide Uchenna Offor highlighted the need for strategic investor partnerships with local companies to revive defunct industries. An international summit is planned in Umuahia in November 2025 to facilitate investment opportunities.
