Abia Monarchs Honor Tinubu with Chieftaincy Title

On Friday, Abia monarchs conferred the chieftaincy title of 'Ik Oha 1 Umunneochi', which translates to 'Strength of the People', on President Bola Tinubu during a civic reception held in Amuda Isuochi, Umunneochi Local Government Area, Abia State. The event was attended by various dignitaries, including the immediate past Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, who spoke on behalf of the President.

Franklin Ohalezim, the chairman of the council, expressed appreciation for the recognition bestowed upon Tinubu. The title was awarded in light of Tinubu's decision to appoint Onyejeocha to his cabinet, providing her with an opportunity to showcase her abilities in serving the people and the nation.

Ohalezim urged traditional rulers to continue supporting Onyejeocha as she pursues her next political ambitions, acknowledging the challenges she faced in accepting her resignation.
