Uchendu and Ola Kalu Back Orji Uzor Kalu for Re-election

Ahead of the 2027 general elections, Ifeanyi Uchendu, a former Deputy Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, and public commentator Ola Kalu have endorsed the re-election of Orji Uzor Kalu, the incumbent senator for Abia North. Uchendu, after a meeting with Kalu in London, commended him for his extensive experience in governance and leadership, urging voters to focus on candidates' records, competence, and achievements rather than political noise.

He stated that elections should prioritize ideas, development, and accountability. Ola Kalu, speaking on a radio program in Abia State, described Kalu as an effective legislator whose efforts have led to significant development in Abia North, citing specific projects such as the construction of roads in Ndi Orieke and Isugwu Village.

Both Uchendu and Ola Kalu called for a careful examination of candidates' performances as the election approaches.
