Otti Urges Abians to Safeguard State Transformation

On Sunday, Governor Alex Otti of Abia State addressed residents during a conference at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Okpulu Umuobo, Aba North. He urged Abians to protect the ongoing transformation of the state and not allow a return to the old order of governance.

Otti described the current administration's achievements as a divine intervention since he took office in 2023, emphasizing the need for continued support for visionary leadership capable of sustaining development beyond his tenure. He warned against any attempts to reverse the progress made, stating that such efforts would not be tolerated.

Otti noted that the previous poor governance had led to a negative perception of Abia State across the country, and he aims to restore dignity and pride among the residents. He reiterated that the administration would continue to extend development projects to rural communities that have long been neglected.
