Ogun Governor Dapo Abiodun Launches New Road Projects

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has reaffirmed his administration's commitment to infrastructure development with the commissioning of the 21-kilometer Imashayi-Igan Okoto-Ayetoro road in Yewa North Local Government Area. This project is part of a broader initiative to enhance transportation and economic activities in the region.

Abiodun emphasized the importance of connecting farming communities to major towns to facilitate the movement of produce to markets. He also announced the construction of 20 additional road projects in Yewaland and Ogun West.

The governor praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his economic reforms and highlighted the ongoing construction of the 1,000-kilometer Badagry-Sokoto highway, which is expected to reduce travel time significantly. Local leaders expressed appreciation for the governor's efforts, and further road projects were approved during a recent executive council meeting, including several in Ijebu North East.
