Gunmen Kill Abuja Doctor and Abduct His Children

Dr. Ifeanyi Ogbu, a respected veterinary doctor and former chairman of the Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA) FCT Chapter, was killed by gunmen who also abducted his three children.

The tragic incident occurred when armed men attacked Dr. Ogbu's residence in Kubwa district, Abuja.

The assailants kidnapped the veterinarian and his children, later abandoning his lifeless body by the roadside. Confirmation of Dr.

Ogbu's death came through a post by Andrew Gabriel Ikechukwu. Colleagues and friends mourned the loss, describing Dr.

Ogbu as a dedicated professional. The abduction of his children remains unresolved, adding to the distress of his grieving family.

This incident follows closely after the fatal attack on a journalist from Arise TV, highlighting the growing security concerns in the region.
