Gunmen attacked the Asokoro community in Abuja, killing one suspected kidnapper. The incident occurred in the Kpaduma III native community on Monday night, leading to chaos as the gunmen exchanged fire with local vigilantes.

Residents described the attack as terrifying, with several people injured and one vigilante, Bako, shot dead. Despite the community's proximity to the city center, the invasion took place.

The FCT Police Command confirmed the incident, with Commissioner of Police CP Ajao Adewale leading the response team. The spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, stated that the command received a distress call reporting gunshots in the area.
