Bandit Attack in Asokoro Extension, Abuja Leaves Vigilante Dead: FCT Police Respond

A vigilante was shot dead during a bandit attack in Kpaduma 3, Asokoro Extension, Abuja. The heavily armed assailants, suspected to be bandits, invaded the community, leading to panic among residents.

Eyewitnesses reported hearing gunfire and grenade blasts during the hour-long attack, which resulted in the death of the vigilante, Bako, and injuries to other residents. The assailants also reportedly raped two girls.

The FCT Police Command responded to the incident, led by CP Ajao Adewale, and managed to rescue two female victims. Residents have called for increased security measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
