ACAMB Launches 30th Anniversary with Tree Planting

The Association of Corporate Affairs Managers of Banks (ACAMB) commenced its 30th anniversary celebration with a tree-planting initiative held in Lagos. This initiative is part of ACAMB's efforts to promote environmental sustainability while commemorating three decades of excellence in corporate communication within Nigeria's banking industry.

The tree-planting exercise was led by ACAMB President Jide Sipe, alongside Akin Morakinyo, Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), and other executive committee members. Despite heavy rainfall, participants demonstrated commitment to the cause.

Sipe emphasized the importance of the initiative in enhancing the reputation of the banking industry and addressing environmental issues. The anniversary celebration will include a series of activities, culminating in a grand gala night on September 30, 2026.

The event also featured the unveiling of the association's 30th anniversary logo and a historical reflection by former president Dr. Eddi Ademosu on ACAMB's establishment in 1996.
