ACAMB Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Tree Planting

The Association of Corporate Affairs Managers of Banks (ACAMB) commenced its 30th anniversary celebrations with a tree planting initiative in June, aimed at promoting environmental sustainability. Jide Sipe, the president of ACAMB, praised members and dignitaries for their participation, reaffirming the association's commitment to enhancing the reputation of the banking industry.

Sipe noted that the foundation laid by the initiative would help improve brand image and customer loyalty. The tree planting exercise coincides with the anniversary and is intended to have a long-term positive impact on the environment and economy.

The anniversary program will feature a series of activities, including a golf networking event on June 27, 2026, at Ikoyi Club, Lagos, culminating in a grand gala night on September 30, 2026. Akin Morakinyo, the registrar and chief executive officer of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), unveiled ACAMB's 30th anniversary logo and commended the association for its longstanding collaboration with the institute.
