Ifeajika Urges Nwoko to Accept Primary Loss, Collaborate

Mr Olisa Ifeajika, Executive Assistant to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Public Enlightenment, advised Senator Ned Nwoko to accept his loss in the 2027 APC Delta North senatorial primary and work with Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, the APC candidate. This statement came after an Abuja Court dismissed Nwoko's suit challenging Okowa's candidacy on grounds of incompetence.

Ifeajika clarified that Governor Oborevwori did not interfere in the primary election, which utilized a direct voting method. He noted that Nwoko's rejection by the Delta North electorate was evident, and he failed to recognize the shifting loyalty towards Okowa.

Ifeajika mentioned a delegation of APC leaders, led by Delta Deputy Governor Sir Monday Onyeme, who encouraged Okowa to run for the senatorial seat again. Okowa subsequently engaged in extensive consultations with stakeholders in Delta North.
