Access Holdings: Executive Director Retirement Filing 2026

Access Holdings Plc has notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited of the retirement of Mr. Olanrewaju Bamisebi as Executive Director, Information Technology and Digitalisation, effective September 30, 2026. The filing states his departure follows the expiration of his term contract and is linked to the company's compliance with CBN Corporate Governance Guidelines for Financial Holding Companies.
Access Holdings Plc filed a corporate action notice with the Nigerian Exchange Limited on October 9, 2026, disclosing the retirement of Mr. Olanrewaju Bamisebi from his position as Executive Director, Information Technology and Digitalisation. His tenure ended on September 30, 2026, upon the expiration of his term contract.
The company tied his exit directly to regulatory requirements. The CBN Corporate Governance Guidelines for Financial Holding Companies in Nigeria stipulate that such companies may maintain a maximum of two Executive Directors: the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, and one other Executive Director who must serve as Chief Financial Officer, subject to CBN approval.
Access Holdings stated that Mr. Bamisebi's retirement positions the company for compliance with those guidelines. The Board acknowledged his contributions to the digital transformation and growth of the Access Group during his time in the role.
The notice was signed by Sunday Ekwochi, Group Company Secretary, on behalf of the Board.
