RMAFC Urges New Staff to Uphold Integrity in Revenue Management

The Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) has stated that accountability, integrity, and transparency are essential for effective public revenue management and the protection of Federation Account resources. This message was conveyed to newly recruited employees during a five-day sensitisation and capacity-building workshop organized by the Commission’s Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit (ACTU) in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
RMAFC is responsible for monitoring accruals into and disbursements from the Federation Account. Dr Mohammed Bello Shehu, the RMAFC chairman, represented by Hon. Ismaila Muhammad Agaka, urged participants to apply the training lessons in their duties.
He emphasized that combating corruption starts with individual choices and requires a collective commitment from public officers. Hon. Abdulkadir Al-Makura, the federal commissioner representing Nasarawa State, stressed that integrity should extend beyond official duties.
Participants expressed that the training reshaped their understanding of acceptable practices in public service.
