RMAFC Reaffirms Commitment to Transparency and Integrity

The Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) has reaffirmed its commitment to integrity, transparency, and accountability in its constitutional responsibilities. Chairman Dr Mohammed Bello Shehu made this statement during the opening of a five-day sensitisation and capacity-building workshop organized by the Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit (ACTU) for newly recruited officers at the Commission’s headquarters and state offices in the North-West geopolitical zone.

The workshop aims to promote ethical conduct and accountability among staff. Shehu, represented by Hon. Ismail Muhammed Agaka, the Federal Commissioner for Kwara State and Provost of ACTU, acknowledged the partnership with the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).

He stressed that public trust is earned through honest and transparent service. Shehu urged officers to develop a culture of integrity and to view the workshop as foundational for improved professional conduct and service delivery.
