RMAFC Urges Civil Servants to Combat Corruption in Nigeria

The Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) stated that the fight against corruption in Nigeria hinges on the actions of civil servants. This assertion was made during a five-day sensitisation and capacity building workshop for its Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit, held in partnership with the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) in Lafia.
Dr. Mohammed Bello Shehu, the chairman of RMAFC, represented by Mr. Ismaila Muhammed Agaka, emphasized that civil servants must make daily choices that uphold integrity and accountability. He urged participants to treat public resources with respect and to return to their posts as ambassadors of integrity.
Mr. Aliyu Abdulkadir Al-Makura, the federal commissioner representing Nasarawa State, reiterated the government's zero tolerance for corruption under President Bola Tinubu's administration. Participants acknowledged the civil service's role in preventing corruption and expressed commitment to their civic responsibilities.
