Nollywood Actor Okemesi in Coma After Drug Complications

Nollywood comic actor Okemesi, whose real name is Bamidel Tope Saint, is currently in a coma following complications from drugs administered during his hospital treatment. His colleague, Jeff Owolewa, better known as Toni Montana, announced this concerning news via an Instagram post on Monday night.

Okemesi had been unwell and homeless two weeks prior, leading to his hospitalization. After being discharged last week, he faced complications from the medication given to him.

He had initially rejected treatment at various hospitals, including a government facility, due to bed space issues, before being readmitted to the first private hospital where he started treatment. Jeff Owolewa has urged Nigerians to pray for Okemesi and has requested financial assistance for his treatment, noting that Okemesi has been unable to eat since Saturday and was placed on oxygen support as of Monday morning.
