Actors Guild of Nigeria to Build N1.3bn Nollywood Centre in Abuja

The Actors Guild of Nigeria, led by outgoing President Ejezi Emeka Rolla, revealed plans to build a N1.3 billion Nollywood Centre in Abuja. During the inauguration ceremony of the new National Executive Council (NEC) led by Abubakar Yakubu, Rolla emphasized the importance of enhancing the Guild's administrative structure and national footprint.

The Guild aims to establish its national office in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) by June 2025. Rolla highlighted the strategic decision to acquire a multi-million naira property in Abuja to support the long-term institutional security of the Guild.

The property, valued at N300 million in Katampe, will house the ultra-modern Nollywood Centre. Rolla called for organizational and private sector partnerships to bring this vision to fruition, expanding the Guild's programs internationally.

He expressed optimism in his successor's ability to continue the Guild's progress and pledged ongoing support for the Guild's growth and professional development initiatives.
