Adamawa APC Confirms Galadima as 2027 Candidate

The Adamawa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed reports suggesting a plan to replace Alhaji Tijani Galadima as the party's governorship candidate for the 2027 elections. Dogo Victor, the party's spokesman, described these claims as false and confirmed that there are no plans to substitute Galadima.

Concerns had been raised within sections of the party regarding Galadima's perceived absence from grassroots engagement in the state. Victor noted efforts to introduce Galadima to party members across Adamawa State and highlighted the importance of grassroots involvement in upcoming electoral campaigns.

Despite suggestions that businessman Abdulrahman Hask might replace Galadima, Victor reaffirmed the party's confidence in Galadima as the current choice. However, some members of the APC state executive committee expressed concerns about Galadima's popularity among voters, warning that the party could face challenges in building wider support ahead of the elections.

Nonetheless, Victor maintained that Galadima remains the preferred candidate with no obstacles within the APC.
