Ahmed Galadima Wins Adamawa APC Gubernatorial Primaries

Ahmed Galadima emerged victorious in the Adamawa State All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial primaries, held on a Friday in Yola, the state capital. He received a total of 414,444 votes, significantly surpassing his closest competitor, Abdulrazak Namda, who obtained 86,004 votes.

Abdulrahman Hask finished third with 65,934 votes. The announcement of Galadima's victory was made by Prof.

Innoc Barikor, the state chairman of the APC primaries committee. Following his win, Galadima resigned from his position as the Executive Secretary and CEO of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), a role he held until April 2026.

His focus is now directed towards the governorship race in Adamawa State.
