Adamawa Chapel Hosts Free Medical Outreach and Workshop

The Adamawa State Correspondents' Chapel, part of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, is set to hold a free medical outreach and a workshop on election coverage. The outreach will take place on April 15, 2023, and will be followed by a workshop on April 16, 2023, aimed at training 100 practicing journalists in the state.

The training will be led by Prof. Danjuma Gambo, the Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies at Madibbo Adama University, Yola, focusing on election reporting in preparation for the 2027 elections.

Additionally, awards for excellence will be presented to members of the chapel and stakeholders in the media industry for their commitment to professional conduct and discipline. The event reflects the leadership of Ibrahim Kado and aims to promote public discourse and contribute to the community's social and mental well-being.
