Atiku Abubakar Calls for Action After Adamawa Killings

On Tuesday, a violent attack in Adamawa State resulted in the deaths of at least 25 people, with gunmen targeting the villages of Kirchinga and Garaha in the Madagali District. The assault, linked to Boko Haram and the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), also involved the burning of homes and business premises.

Atiku Abubakar, a former presidential candidate, described the incident as tragic and deeply troubling. He highlighted the worsening insecurity across Nigeria and called on security agencies and relevant authorities to intensify efforts to address the threats posed by these terrorist groups.

Abubakar urged for justice to be served against the perpetrators and emphasized the need for strengthened security measures to prevent future attacks, reflecting the ongoing crisis in the northeastern region of the country.
