Sabo Muhammad Nakudu Wins Jigawa Governorship Primary

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially announced Sabo Muhammad Nakudu as the winner of the Jigawa State governorship primary election. The results were declared by the chairman of the ADC electoral committee for Jigawa State, Zaki Ahm, following the completion of the vote counting process.

Nakudu secured a total of 35,939 votes, while his nearest rival, Hon Bashir Adamu Jumbo, received 19,537 votes. The electoral committee had previously indicated that results from 19 out of 27 local government areas were received, with delays in eight councils due to pending submissions.

The announcement of the final outcome came after a verification process that commenced within 72 hours of the primary election.
