ADC Declares Isa Ashiru Winner of Kaduna Governorship Primary

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced Isa Ashiru as the winner of the Kaduna State governorship primary election. Ashiru secured 719 votes in the primary.

He had previously contested in the 2023 general election but lost narrowly to Uba Sani of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who received 730,002 votes. Following his victory in the primary, Ashiru expressed gratitude to the nation, state, and ADC leadership, emphasizing a commitment to grassroots support and purposeful leadership.

He stated, "Alhamdulillah," upon being declared the winner, and expressed confidence in delivering effective leadership in the future.
