Jigawa APC Chair Predicts ADC Exodus After Primaries

Hon. Ahmad Garba, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jigawa State, has stated that there will be a mass exodus of prominent members from the Action Democratic Congress (ADC) following the party's primaries.

He emphasized that the ADC is built on individual aspirations rather than a cohesive ideology, making it unsustainable. Garba, who is also a former Deputy Speaker of the Jigawa State House of Assembly, expressed confidence that the APC will secure victory in the 2023 elections by an even wider margin than before.

He cited examples of notable figures such as Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Rotimi Amaechi, who he claims have abandoned their parties due to the inability to secure presidential tickets. Additionally, Garba announced that the APC is fully prepared for the upcoming national convention in Abuja, ensuring a smooth and rancor-free exercise, with state allocations for national financing and legal advice deemed satisfactory.
