ADC Candidate Accuses APC of Intimidation Tactics

Rhodes Vivour, the gubernatorial candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has publicly criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC) for alleged intimidation tactics used to maintain its dominance in Lagos State. In an interview, Vivour described the APC as having a "cartel-like structure" that undermines democratic processes.

He expressed his belief that the APC's governance relies on violence and intimidation, which he claims are detrimental to the people of Lagos. Vivour's remarks come amid increasing public scrutiny of the APC's governance, particularly in light of the party's perceived control over the state.

He emphasized that the people should not have to depend on thuggery or violence to secure their rights and that the current state of insecurity in the southwest is a reflection of the APC's failure to govern effectively. He also referenced comments made by President Bola Tinubu, suggesting that the APC's actions are not in line with the expectations of the citizens.
