ADC's Dele Momodu Accuses APC of 2027 Election Plot

Dele Momodu, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), made allegations against the All Progressives Congress (APC) during an interview on Thursday. He claimed that the APC is making moves to ensure that Bola Tinubu emerges as the sole candidate for the 2027 presidential election.

Momodu pointed out that the APC currently has 31 governors across the country, but he insisted that this development does not pose a significant threat to the opposition. He referenced the conduct of the recent area council elections in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), criticizing the APC's attempts to manipulate the electoral process to favor Tinubu.

Momodu expressed that the ADC is neither worried nor panicked about the elections, despite the curfew declared in the FCT. He noted that the Inspector General of Police is supervising the polling units across the city, indicating a structured approach to the electoral process.
