ADC Coalition: I Remain Principal Member Of APC, Says Fayemi

Former Ekiti State governor and prominent APC leader, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has refuted claims linking him to the newly formed ADC coalition.

In a statement issued by his media office, Fayemi reaffirmed his commitment as a principal member of the APC. The statement was in response to circulating claims that he, along with former Rivers State governor Rotimi Amaechi, founded the ADC coalition.

Fayemi's camp denied any involvement and warned against engaging in potentially manufactured controversies. Despite his reduced visibility in national politics, Fayemi remains active in local APC affairs and has publicly endorsed Governor Biodun Oyebanji for the APC gubernatorial ticket in Ekiti State.

The statement emphasized that Fayemi's political allegiance to the APC remains unchanged, and any misconstrued defection signals would be made public by him personally. Fayemi's office urged the public to be cautious of reports on political affiliations, especially those originating solely from social media platforms.
