Fayemi denies link to ADC, reaffirms loyalty to APC

Former Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, has denied any connection to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and reaffirmed his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC). This comes after claims by former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, that Fayemi was involved in founding a new ADC coalition.

Fayemi's media office dismissed these claims, stating that they lack basis and that Fayemi remains a committed member and leader of the APC in Ekiti State. Fayemi publicly endorsed Biodun Oyebanji for governor of Ekiti State, further emphasizing his loyalty to the APC.

The statement also highlighted that there is no credible evidence to support Amaechi's claims, urging caution when consuming news related to Fayemi, especially if it originates from social media. Fayemi has consistently affirmed his dedication to the APC and its progressive ideals.
