ADC Crisis Self-Inflicted, Not Caused by APC: Aide

In an interview with Channel Television, Sundai Dare, a presidential aide, addressed concerns regarding the political crisis within the African Democratic Congress (ADC), asserting that it is a self-inflicted issue rather than a consequence of actions by the All Progressives Congress (APC). He described the ADC's situation as a classic example of a party failing to run effectively and noted that the crisis has persisted for several months.

Dare emphasized that the APC, led by President Bola Tinubu, is not engaged in partisan battles and is focused on governance. He criticized the ADC for attempting to resolve its internal issues through backdoor methods instead of building a solid political structure.

Dare also dismissed claims that the APC is orchestrating political instability to weaken opposition parties, asserting that the APC is not afraid of any political competition. He reiterated the importance of maintaining a democratic space in Nigeria, highlighting the APC's commitment to protecting press freedom and the rights of political parties.
