Imo State ADC Demands Probe Over Alleged Electoral Officers' Pilgrimage Sponsorship

The African Democrat Congress (ADC) in Imo State has raised concerns over the alleged sponsorship of the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) and 27 electoral officers to a pilgrimage in Jerusalem. The party spokesperson, Chief Macdonald Amadi, emphasized the need for a thorough investigation by security agencies and human rights organizations to safeguard the neutrality of Nigeria's electoral institutions.

The ADC highlighted the importance of preserving democracy and called for accountability in the electoral process to prevent compromise.
