ADC Denies Coalition Talks with PRP for 2027 Elections

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) issued a denial on Monday regarding reports that it was in discussions with the People's Redemption Party (PRP) about possibly using a coalition platform for the 2027 elections. The statement was made by the party's national public secretary, who emphasized that the ADC does not anticipate any talks with the PRP ahead of expected court rulings.

The clarification followed claims made by the PRP's national chairman, who suggested that several opposition politicians had approached the ADC to collaborate in preparation for the upcoming general elections. The ADC dismissed these reports, asserting that there are no plans to abandon their party.

The statement also highlighted that the party remains open to welcoming interested individuals and groups, including those from the African Democratic Coalition.
